Mikey and I decided to take a little walk for some coffee and some early morning "bao tze" (Portland calls them Hum Bao) to fuel everybody for our trip out to the "Dirt Market."

Mikey started out with some 'bucks. Just within 2 blocks of Alexa's apartment is a thriving neighborhood "Hfuton," or street food shops area. We passed through it to Alexa's building where Nike & the nearest 'bucks are housed. Then we cut back to pick up some dumplings.
Here a guy is selling some stuff off of his bicycle. I think it was eggs.
Mikey remembered this man from his previous visits to Beijing. His bicycle is packed with fresh apples.
I couldn't help snapping a quick photo when this woman's jacket made me laugh.
Here are some thousand year eggs cooking up for the morning's customers.
